1.  Introduction

                     Antonio is main character of the play'the marchant of Venice' .we see him beginning to the end of the play.we find Antonio every where and of the play.

2.man of the passive nature

                   Antonio is a man of passive nature in the play so he was very sad 

3. His hate for shylock

                     Antonio hates shylock because shylock is Jew of the Venice and gives money high interest and Antonio is a Cristian and gives money without interest so he was hate shylock .

4. A noble man

                   Antonio is a noble man.he is a single minded man by nature.he is true friend of Bassanio.he is always ready to help their friends and others people.

5. His weckness 

                 Antonio hates all religions people he is so simple that he forgets the trick of shylock.

6. Conclusion

               So we can say that Antonio is a sencior man of the play.
